How to Calculate 7% VAT Yourself: Step by Step

Case 1: You have the net price, want the total

Formula: total = net × 1.07

Example: 500 THB → 500 × 1.07 = 535 THB (VAT 35 THB)

Case 2: You have the total, want to strip VAT

Formula: net = total ÷ 1.07

Example: 1,605 THB → 1,605 ÷ 1.07 = 1,500 THB (VAT 105 THB)
